Kate, the owner of Why Not Kate’s, and Lynda, our Signage Manager, live and work in and around Dalby in the Western Darling Downs region of southern Queensland.  They both love their homes, and their families, and are keen amateur photographers.

Why Not Kate’s began in 1994 in Chinchilla on the Western Darling Downs. Originally from Blackall, Queensland, Kate has developed and grown her business to provide exceptional signage consulting, design and manufacture for local and small businesses throughout the Western Darling Downs region.  Kate is sensitive to the customs and norms of rural Queenslanders and can advise you on the best and cheapest options for your signage needs taking into account the effects of weather and sunlight on signs and branding.  Now based at the growing town of Dalby, Kate provides local and small businesses with bespoke design and advice on signs and branding.
